Yoga

Yoga, which means “union” or “harmony,” is an ancient philosophy originating in India more than 5,000 years ago. The practice of yoga integrates physical and mental exercises including postures, breathing techniques, mantra, yogic relaxation, and meditation, all of which stabilize, condition, and reward the mind and body. Though an ancient discipline, yoga’s continuing popularity today is a testament to its effectiveness at engaging the mind and the body, building self-awareness, and creating a strong, flexible body.

Yoga Bliss

 

A nurturing class designed to release tension after your long day and to awaken your energy for your evening ahead. Includes Hatha Yoga asanas and flows infused with breath, and deep relaxation.

This class is suitable for all levels.

Gentle/Beginner Yoga

 

A gentle introduction to Yoga that is terrific for anyone starting out or wanting to get started toward a healthier lifestyle.

Calm breathing and stretching through yoga postures increases flexibility thereby increasing circulation.

If you have ever thought about trying to benefit from the practice of Yoga but were always a little anxious feeling you were not up to others’ level, this class will be the perfect way to get started!!

 

Meditation

Meditation is the art of finding peace and happiness within by using simple methods of calming and stabilising our minds. Modern life can be stressful and busy. Most of the time we are carried along by the force of emotions, habits and conditioning to the point where we end up feeling nothing but tired and stressed by our everyday lives. Cultivating the practice of meditation can change this. Meditation can help bring about a natural sense of peace and well-being that can extend to every aspect of our lives. People who meditate regularly tend to sleep better, handle the ups and downs of daily life with more clarity and ease and relate to others with more compassion and warmth.

At the heart of it, meditation is simply the practice of paying attention to what we are doing while we are doing it, whatever this may be.

Yoga Flow

 

An invigoratingly challenging practice that appeals to active people of all ages and abilities. Emphasis will be placed on strengthening core muscles, and the cardiovascular system through flowing movement sequences of traditional
postures. There will also be a focus on breath, relaxation, and mind/body awareness.

 

This class is suitable for all levels.

Power Fusion

 

Experience the power of fusion with this unique blend of Power Yoga, Pilates and traditional ‘kick your butt’ fitness, guaranteed to give results in short order! Find the warrior within, target stubborn core muscles, experience new realms of
