Gentle Beginner Yoga

 

Have you always wanted to try yoga? This 6 week absolute beginner yoga series is recommended for those new to yoga and for students who wish to establish a solid foundation in this ancient practice. Each week we will explore a new dimension of the practice including: synchronizing breath to movement, alignment details, muscles used in specific poses, physical benefits of poses. Everyone has the ability to start and flourish in yoga, regardless of age, level of flexibility and physical condition. Bring balance, strength and increased sense of well-being back into your body.

This class can be done as a drop-in ($14), through a punch card ($125 for 10 classes) or as a registered class ($96 for an 8 week session). This class is suitable for all fitness levels.

Wednesday 6:30pm-7:30pm (taught by Kathleen Fournier)

This class is done in bare feet. Wear fitted comfortable attire that will allow the instructor to view your alignment while providing you with maximum mobility. Please keep jewelry and scents to a minimum. Mats are provided.
