Small Class Sizes
When you participate in a class at Balance, one of the first things you will notice is that our class sizes are kept small. At Balance we think it is important that the instructor to student ratio is high. How can you properly learn subtle technique or truly understand how your body is moving when the instructor is unable to spend any time with you? Too often gym facilities are focused on filling their classes to capacity at the expense of the quality of individual instruction.
Our beginner mat classes have a maximum of 6 participants, our core classes a maximum of 12 participants and our equipment classes a maximum of 8 participants.
Progressive approach to Pilates and core classes
While we continue to offer traditional classes in Pilates and Yoga, Balance has expanded beyond these parameters to create very unique, dynamic classes that appeal to the client who enjoys training hard and seeing the results that go with this type of training. By taking the best of Pilates, and combining it with traditional core and plyometric training principles, we have created unique conditioning classes that meet a wide range of fitness goals.
Instructors who know their Clients
At Balance we place incredible value on getting to know every client at the studio. When you first join, we take the time to find out what your health goals are and then help to design a fitness program that will achieve and eventually extend these goals. Instructors are provided with both health background and goal forms for individual clients so the moment you enter into a class the instructor is already familiar with who you are and what your goals are for their class. This level of individual attention is extremely unique in fitness facilities; however, we feel that it is essential in providing a positive experience for every client at our studio.
Flexibility and Make-ups for Missed Classes
Life is busy and at Balance we have designed both a schedule and registration options that allow flexibility for those individuals who need it. When you unfortunately are unable to attend your class due to illness or family/work obligations, Balance provides the opportunity for clients to make-up their classes in lieu of their missed one.
Variety of Classes
Balance provides an extremely large range of class styles, types and intensity levels. This range allows us to work with a variety of clients who all have different fitness and health goals. Some of our clients include:

- Mature clients who are looking to reverse some of the signs of aging such as muscle tone and posture degeneration
- Working professionals who are looking to lose a couple of pounds in a non-intimidating setting
